Seriously, if only ever mother were as chill as Kari-ahhhh the joy! I got to shoot the family of my friend Kari tonight, and let me tell you, she has some very handsome, very well behaved boys! Everything I said- the answer was an enthusiastic, "SURE!" Encluding... "HURRY EVERYONE!!! Come hide on this side quick! I see a policeman!" The answer? "SURE!" While we were shooting under the track on the ties, a train rolled right over top of us...it gave me a whole new appreciation for being up on the tracks...and scared the daylights out of the boys! Kari- I hope you like these, I will call you right when I get back into town!









I L-O-V-E this picture! Mom and dad are making out and totally oblivious! The boys think also think they have died and gone to heaven with the plane that flew overhead!

This is a quick studio shoot I did of my darling nephew Jonathon. He is a talking, WALKING, (read the emphasis on WALKING!!!) little miracle, and such a blessing to our entire family. He WAS NOT happy to be having his picture taken...until...we kicked mom downstairs and he had some fun singing and dancing with Aunt Ashley...well..I did most of the singing and dancing, (it was kind-of a one woman show), but he enjoyed it immensely!

For Rolayne

PHEW! 7 people in my little studio, WOWZA! It was a little busy, but we got the job done! This is the darling family of my darling friend Rolayne. We had high hopes of a beautiful wind-swept shoot at the lake on their family boat, but...time, schedules, and life in general seemed to plot against us. We planned this one very last minute to at least get a Christmas card photo, and I would say we succeeded!!! ENJOY! ENJOY!!

Where it all started--

For Michelle-Take 2!

This time we got to add Dad in the mix! These girls are seriously so darling, and that 4 year old is a FIRE CRACKER! She had had a rough day with some pretty sore injuries, so I'm impressed that she still smiled and (mostly) humored us! Mom kept apologizing for the behavior of Lil' Miss 4-year old and saying that she would rather die than try to deal with roudy kids as a photographer (well, those weren't her exact words...but that was the message!) I am here to testify that the mildest looking shoot on the blog was surely full of silly dancing, toot noises, and lame jokes on my part, general disobedience, creative naughtiness, and hyperactivity on the kids parts, and bribes, threats, pleadings, and some muttered cursing on the parents part! Michelle- She is a beautiful, NORMAL 4-year old! And she is a DOLL!! :o)

Another Studio shoot- HURRAY!! This was a really cool shoot because we had 4 generations- What a blessing! Great-Grandma was down visiting from Canada, and it was a perfect time to get all the lovely ladies together. Mom (Michelle) was super helpful, and these two little girls, seriously, SO CUTE! Here are a few of my favorites Michelle- Enjoy, and see you this afternoon for round 2!!!

My next-door-neighbors brought their grandson over for a little surprise shoot. They are going to have some pf the pictures blown up and framed and give them to mom on Christmas! Vinsent was seriously the easiest shoot I've ever done- he just did what I told him and looked cute while doing it! And I'm telling you- those EYES! Those EYELASHES! Heaven help the girls in a few years!
