Angel Face

Once more my niece Katie is featured on the blog! I think she is about the cutest, spunkiest thing you could ever meet, and it is fun to see the finished product of her pictures...not quite as much fun to take the pictures--she reminds me exactly of Jaxon at that age... sitting still is not high on their priority list! I'm short on time, so here are just a few of Miss Katie!

Here is the rest of the "Reflections" shoot-- I have to say, this was one of the easiest, most fun, most laid-back shoots I have ever done! Sometimes I worry about shooting families with older kids, because you can't rely on the "cutesie" factor of toddlers to make the pictures look good. But man- not having ANYONE to chase around, and EVERYONE doing just what you ask- it was a DREAM! Not to mention, this family is one of a kind. The brothers adored each other, and everyone was really comfortable in their own skin- Hurray to Sheri and Hubby for raising such wonderful boys!
(for some reason, the right side of my horizontal pictures is getting cut a little short- I promise the real things are not like that!)
















This shot pretty much sums up the day-this guy giggled the ENTIRE TIME! It was hilarious, and infectious, and I love that nobody snapped at him or made him stop!

Reflections

It's getting late I am not going to get to edit much of this photo shot tonight, but as I was uploading these pictures I saw this one, and just had to get it up on the blog. I LOVE THIS PICTURE! I also love this family- just met them today, but they had me reflecting back on life with my big loving family- with Mom and Dad as great examples, teaching the children to be good and kind, and to love each other and life. Does that sound a little sappy? Oh well...more on this amazing family to come...but for now-their reflection...

This morning I got to do a quick, COLD shoot with my beautiful niece Katie, my brother Tyler, and my dear SIL AnnaMarie. The grass was wet, and Katie had on little soft sandles with no socks! (...they are just here visiting from Wisconsin, and as far as my SIL is concerned, she doesn't understand why we aren't all in our swimsuits and basking in the sunny heat!) Katie's sandles quickly got wet, her feet quickly got cold, and she was QUICKLY over the photo shoot. We did get a few good ones, but we are going to give it one more try before they leave! Is it just me, or is little Katie one of the most beautiful little girls you have ever seen in your life? She looks like an angel to me, but what always makes me laugh is her spunk! Love you guys!

Tyler and AnnaMarie are one of the first married couples that actually KISSED when I told them to kiss (not just an embarrassed little half peck) WAY TO GO LOVE BIRDS!!!

Well Gosh-- I love this couple! Again it was so fun to photograph them...even more so now, because their wedding day is just 2 days away...they are SO IN LOVE, and SO READY TO BE MARRIED. They are a perfect match, and I'm so glad to be able to capture a little of it! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! ENJOY!!
