The H Family!

Let me tell you a little about the "H" family
...it consists of...

One mom on a mission to get some specific shots, and will go to all lengths to get them-a photographers dream!!!

One dad who wins Father-Of-The-Year for HAPPILY taking apart the bed, bringing it to the shoot location, setting it up, making it, and SMILING the whole time!!

One spunky little girl who warmed my heart when she finally warmed up to me

One handsome snoozy boy who was content to be anywhere he was put!

Mom wanted a more vintage look to a lot of these, and there are SO MANY that I love...but since I'm burning the midnight oil, I will post more when I get back! ENJOY!!!

Piper Turns One!

I got to shoot sweet Piper again, this time in my studio! She and her mom are as laid back as it gets, so this was a fun-filled, stress free hour of bouncing balls and playing peek-a-boo! Did I mention I love this "job"?!?! I promised Piper's mom a quick sneak peak before I left for vacation, so here you go!!! ( I really loved the black and white edits on this shoot...)

Mom and Dad are HOME!!!

Just a quick personal post here...my parents are back from their year in China, and boy is everyone excited! Here they are with all but 2 and a half (Since Jane is still in Utero...she only counts as 1/2) of their grandchilden in their "China Clothes" (Taylor, being the oldest and most distinguished Grandchild opted to wear his suit that he had made in China rather than his "china Clothes" Do these look like the happiest grandparents ever? Do these look like the happiest grandchildren ever? BECAUSE THEY ARE!!! Reunited at last!!!

Because I couldn't resist!!

Okay- this is hands down the funniest shot from all of my Father's Day mini sessions! I will post some great shots from this shoot as well...but as soon as I saw this one I was cracking up! Little Miss was not too thrilled to be having her picture taken to begin with...then add over-exuberant older sister...recipe for...well...THIS PICTURE!

A quick one for Marie...

And because Baby Joslyn is so beautiful!!! We did a quick shoot of Joslyn in her blessing dress- is that thing not gorgeous OR WHAT? It is made from her mom's wedding dress, which is such a fantastic idea! She wouldn't cooperate with Marie (not smiling) but she's so darn cute, even in her "out-takes" so those are mostly the ones I chose to upload!!

Okay, Since I am right where I love to be- up to my eyeballs in editing, I don't know if I will get an individual sneak peak of every Father's Day shoot up! I have had a great time photographing some old friends, and making some new ones. Everyone I meet is so gracious and fun, and did I mention I love my job?
