Another Baby K!

My.
Gosh.!

This is the tiniest, most gorgeous, best behaved, chill baby I have ever shot! He was born 5 pounds 15 ounces, and 20.5 inches long! Such a long skinny little peanut. His parents were a dream! They let me move and mold and shape him, and just chatted the whole time...I'm shockingly impressed at these first time parents!
He stayed asleep the whole time, and didn't even cry when it was time for a lunch break...just started sucking his hand and wouldn't let go until he got the good stuff!
I love him already!
PS- His gorgeous mom is the one who designed this site, and every other amazing computer thing I do...she's a genius!!!










This shot was all Dad's idea, and I LOVE IT! That is Dad's GameBoy, and he can't wait to teach Baby K all about it! Of all the pictures, it's so appropriate that this is the one he smile for!

Beautiful Baby K

Hurray! Another gorgeous girl in this family for me to photograph! I trade services with K's rockin' mom, and I have loved getting to know her better as I sit and she does wonders with my hair!
I'm pretty sure her other daughter C, has appeared on the photoblog more than any other child (Even more than my own I think!) and I am super excited to debut~~~~~~~~~~

Baby Tino!

Remember the hot soon-to-be-Mamma I shot a month or so ago? Well, she is now the proud mommy of this gorgeous little guy! Baby Tino is tiny, and beautiful, and very well behaved! (I won't hold it against him that he pooped on some of my props...)

Hurray for Baby Chase!

I have been dying to get my hands on a baby lately...and finally, baby Chase made his appearance. Baby shoots NEVER go the way you think they will...but in the end you love it, what's not to love about a baby picture? Amber- your little guy is GORGEOUS!!!

For Nikki

Can you believe this HOT MAMMA is now the mother of 4 BOYS!?!? Neither could I, but it is true! I got to spend a little time with brother #4 and mom and dad this week, and we had a great time. Little buddy wasn't always so happy, and expressed himself by exploding yellow poo all over dads belt, jeans, and shoes! Dad was such a trooper, not even sort-of phased! Hope you love 'em Nikki!

More of the H Family

I just loved this shoot. When someone else has a vision, it pushes me out of my comfort zone. Occasionally that can be a total disaster, but sometimes, everything just comes together. That's how I feel about this shoot. I totally went outside my style, captured her vision (I hope) and I love the results...so here are a few more...

A Whole Bunch A' Boys!

While I was in Utah last week, I got to meet up with some of my dearest friends, and all of their boys (7 in total) got a little camera time with me! HURRAY!

On Wed. afternoon Elise and I took our gang to a park at the base of Provo Canyon. It was gorgeous, but mostly the boys just wanted to play...so I shot where I could, and Elise and I chatted and caught up. Elise is a gorgeous redhead with flawless fair skin that all of her boys inherited...LUCKY! Our shoot was mostly a success except for one large thrown rock which landed on and gashed one small finger. In order to protect the innocent (Elise's son) and the guilty ( my son...) I will not tell you who threw the rock, and who it landed on...






Later I met up with Elise's Freshman roommate, and fellow floormate of mine, Amy. Where Amy is, laughter follows. You cannot be around Amy for long before you are laughing hysterically, and gasping for breath. It's easy to laugh with Amy because she makes you feel so at ease! Of course she brought along her new beautiful baby boy, and he was quite the trooper, braving gusty winds and a little rain to get some shots.








The next day I met up with Lindsay. Although we didn't meet until we moved into the same ward in Arizona, it seems as though we were destined to meet a thousand different ways at BYU but never quite made it. Lindsay is the queen of great conversation, and after talking with her for two hours, you will realize that she had you talking for at least 1 hour and 45 minutes of it! With the little guy we shot in her house by the window, but with the other two we braved a wheat field in the rain until her 7 year old said, "Seriously Mom! Are. You. Kidding. me?" That was our que...










I love this picture in black and white, but it seems wrong somehow to not picture "Old Glory" in all of her glory...what do you think?
